Present Help: God is Helping You Right Now

Listen, just because God has yet to deliver you from your situation, this does not mean that He is not helping you right now! Psalm 46:1 (New King James Version) says “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.” Hear that-PRESENT! So He’s helping you right now, even in the midst of the storm!

Don’t for a second, think that God’s help is delayed. Yes, your actually deliverance may take a while to come. You may go through the storm for a few weeks, months, even years before you are actually delivered. You may be going through something right now as you are reading this. But the mere fact that you are still alive and have not completely lost your mind, says that God is indeed helping you right now!

Just hold on! Know that God is faithful and that your deliverance is coming! But until then-rest assured that God will strengthen and keep you!

Say this short prayer:

Lord, help me to understand that even though my deliverance has yet to come, you are helping me right now. Lord I thank you because even in the midst of my storm, I am still here and have not lost my mind. That’s how I know you are still working in my life. Help me to take comfort in knowing that your help is never delayed and you are indeed a present help, working in my life at all times. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen!

  1. This is so true! I’ve been waiting, praying and trusting God to deliver me out of some stuff and although the journey has been long he has been with me and now the time has come and my prayers have been answered. Trust in the Lord and he will bring you not only through your problems but he will make your life and circumstances better. 🙂
