Battles: Think About It Tuesday

We fight so many battles on a daily basis. Some of us fight fear, depression, doubt, loneliness, and so many other awful things. But I’ve got a question for you today….Why are you wasting time fighting battles that Jesus has already won?! When Jesus died on the cross and rose back to life by the power of the Holy Spirit, He defeated ALL forms of darkness, even death itself! He won the VICTORY over all and it is by this same power that we too can overcome anything the enemy throws at us (Romans 8:11, New King James Version).

If you’re feeling lonely on today, God has already said He will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5, NKJV). You are not alone! If you’re feeling as though you are not “good enough” for a particular person or task, Jesus already said if we ask for anything in His name it shall be ours (John 14: 13-15, NKJV). You are worthy of the GOOD things your heart desires; and your Father in Heaven loves you enough to give it to you if you love and obey Him!

You see, we tire ourselves out by constantly fighting with the devil. This is energy we could be using to get up and do the GOOD work of the Lord, energy we could be using to simply LIVE and enjoy life. When an athlete has won a game, the first thing he’s likely to do is CELEBRATE his victory! So today I encourage you to celebrate as well because the battle has already been won for you-you’ve got the victory! And the next time the enemy tries to come at you, throw the Word of God on Him-tell Him what your God has already said about you and watch the enemy QUICKLY flee!

You have so many great things you COULD be doing right now and time is winding down! So again I ask you: Why are you wasting time fighting battles that Jesus has already won?……..THINK ABOUT IT!

-To God be the Glory
