Feel Free Friday

Something New: Feel Free Friday

Of course I’m talking about freedom again today! We have been called into freedom by Jesus Christ, and He wants us to WALK in that freedom. So you may be wondering: how do I walk in my freedom? Well I’ll tell you; one good way of doing so is to try SOMETHING NEW! See you’ve been stuck in the same boat for years allowing fear, sin, and so many other awful things to keep you from doing all the great things you want to do. So today I encourage you to try something different so you can get a different outcome!

Now don’t be deceived-I’m not telling you to go out doing ANY and EVERY THING that pleases you, whether it’s good or bad. Galatians 5:13 (New King James Version) warns against using our freedom as an opportunity to do things that solely please our flesh. However, we can use our freedom to BOLDLY go after the GOOD and RIGHTEOUS desires of our hearts.

So the business you’ve been wanting to start, start it. That new hobby you’ve been wanting to try, try it. Whether it’s taking a new painting or dance class, traveling to a new place, or joining a new club, do SOMETHING NEW. Don’t let fear, sin, or anything that’s NOT like God hold you back any longer! Be ADVENTUROUS and get excited about all the wonderful POSSIBILITIES that await you within the Will of God.

Have FUN but stay HOLY. You are free my friends…..so FEEL FREE!

-To God be the Glory

    1. Sure thing! Being adventurous entails doing anything exciting and new tht you have yet to do, while of course staying Godly! Starting this blog was even new and adventurous to me. Trying new restaurants is adventurous, one time me and some coworkers went to a very fancy upscale restaurant. The food wasn’t all tht great but just the experience was awesome! Gaining new hobbies is adventurous, I’ve recently gotten into doing arts and crafts and God has given me a BIG vision concerning tht! Literally anytying thts new or different, whether it be BIG or SMALL, is an adventure to me!

  1. This is true. Pastor Chris Oyakilhome once said: If you keep doing things the same way, you’ll keep getting the same result. If you want a different result, bring in something new.

Christ has truly made us free so we shouldn’t live in bondage and fear of trying new things. Thanks. This was a lovely read
