Bound Yet Free: Feel Free Friday

Everything about God is FREEDOM! Scripture tells us that where the Spirit of God is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17, New King James Version). And if you want this freedom, you MUST be filled with this same Spirit, the Holy Spirit. Now most times it doesn’t sound appealing to be bound or tied up to something. However, today I tell you about the goodness of being tied up to God. Being bound by God is the same as being bound by FREEDOM; and it means you are free from all bad or dark things.

Romans 6:22 (NKJV) even says, “But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit of holiness, and the end, everlasting life.” This scripture is plainly telling us that if we SUBMIT ourselves to God, we will NOT lose any good thing as we will only GAIN eternal life. You see, God’s captivity is the ONLY captivity that actually gives LIFE and great joy. Romans 6:23 (NKJV) even goes on to say, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

So today I say to you: if you must be enslaved, bound, or serve a god; serve the ALMIGHTY GOD, the one who gives life! Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit, that awesome Spirit of Freedom. Jesus already paid the price and God is just waiting on you to grab ahold of your freedom and walk in it!

As a firm believer in God I profess to you today that I am BOUND BY GOD, YET FREE IN EVERY WAY.  And YOU are free as well my friends-so FEEL FREE!
