Work Out: New Perspective

We often beat ourselves up when things don’t “work out,” continually going over a list of things we could’ve possibly done better; and sometimes we even begin to question our own value. True enough, sometimes things fall apart because we should’ve done BETTER than what we did. However, when we’ve truly given a thing our best shot, sometimes things don’t work out simply because they were NOT supposed to work out. Now whether it be a business plan that fell through or a relationship that didn’t last, if we are honest with ourselves, we all know when it was truly our own fault or not. Even when we refuse to admit it or say it out loud, we know when we have truly given something our best effort and when we barely gave it any effort at all.

Now if you’ve been running yourself crazy trying to figure out why “it” didn’t work out while knowing full well that you gave it your ALL;  I encouraged you to let it go, pick your head up, and keep pressing on. You gave it your best try; that’s all you could’ve done! If it didn’t work out, it wasn’t for you! When “IT” doesn’t work out, remember that ALL things work TOGETHER for your good. You think you lost something; but you CANNOT lose something that was never yours; and if it’s not in God’s will for your life then it’s not yours. So pick yourself up; you have not lost a thing. What’s yours is yours; and you will have it at God’s appointed time! You wanted this; you wanted that-but God has something BETTER!

Romans 8:28 (New King James Version)

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

-To God be the Glory
