Be Steadfast: Bits of Knowledge

Sometimes we can be doing everything right-praying diligently, reading and obeying God’s Word, and doing His good work-but still that big turnaround has yet to come. Now I’ll be the first to admit when you KNOW you’re on the right path but still not seeing the full results you’d like to see, it’s a bit frustrating to say the least. However, in these cases it’s important for us to remember that we are indeed on the right path; and on the right path we can’t go wrong. So the only thing left for us to do is simply CONTINUE on the right path-being steadfast, unshakable, and immovable in everything we do until our breakthrough comes!

You see, sometimes I think it takes some of us so long to finally choose the right path that we have to continue on that path for a rather long time just to prove our faithfulness to God before He moves us to the next level. Just think about it, do you work on a job for only 2 months and get promoted to a higher position just like that? Of course not, even when you show yourself to be a good employee you have to CONSISTENTLY show good work ethics for a reasonable amount of time before you get promoted. Some people are on jobs for years before they’re even considered for a promotion.

Now it’s the same with God; He wants to be sure we know how to be faithful and steadfast in what we do before He gives us more, even when we are already doing what’s right! So today I just want to encourage you, if you KNOW you’re on the right path, don’t go to doubting yourself! Just keep on doing what God wills for you to do! Show Him how faithful and steadfast you can be and wait patiently for your desired blessings to come!

I Corinthians 15:58 (New King James Version)

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

-To God be the Glory
